I can hear the rolling thunder of Labor Day fireworks taking place 10 miles away or so.
The sound is sporadic and deep, you can hear the shells explode in the night.
It's wonderful.

lol, it's like the sound of mortar fire in the distance.
I imagine this as the sounds of the Revolutionary War. The *cracks* echo in the valleys, and are soaked up by the landscape, but the booming will not be denied.

I do not know why we launch fireworks for Labor Day, but I am glad.

Fireworks are something special.
I am really down with fireworks, I can sit still and watch them even if I'm drunk.
