Aphex Twin's musical styles?

Aphex is God! from Netherlands on 2001-11-08 22:00 [#00049854]

I don't know very much about the substyles of electronic
music, so I'm trying to figure it out a little. What is the
name of the subgenre of these Aphex Twin songs? (i.e.
Girl/Boy Song would be drill 'n bass) 1. Digeridoo 2. Xtal
3. Popcorn 4. On

I like that word Braindance more than IDM... or, i love the
word Braindance and i hate the word IDM (Intelligent, que

Good music is good music, whether it's IDM or Country. But I
HATE country, it sucks.

'melodic electronica' would suit most tracks
