here is a scenario that happened at my work... i'm just curious as to what each of you would do in my position... ill introduce the charectors... james - me david - co-worker also a very good friend of mine kelly - waitress, very cool girl the bouncers - the bouncers... 2 of them. michaela - manager at the time owner - owner of the club episode 1 - christmas party last year... james leaves early to spend time with his girlfriend, david who was spending most of the evening with james, stays at the christmas party... later that evening the bouncers spike davids drink with rohypnol... all david remembers is being dragged out into the alleyway out the back of the club by the bouncers, who were laughing and joking about what they had done to him episode 2 - david tells james what happened due to his concern... mentions his suspicions that the bouncers were behind the spiking of his drink... david also unfortunately tells his boss michaela... she then starts spreading rumours that david claimed he was raped in the back alley by the bouncers... episode 3 - the bouncers (unaware of the rumours) start taunting david while he works about drugs and drink spiking - confirming his suspicions that the bouncers were behind it... then some clever staff member decides to tell the bouncers that david is telling people that they (the bouncers) raped him. episode 4 - quiet sunday night, james, david and kelly are working... james is out the back in a store room when the bouncers rush into the bar, beat the living shit out of david, throw kelly to the floor and threaten to punch her, and then proceed to run out to the back store room - NOTE - the bouncers attend the same boxing gym as me and my father were currently attending, my father being one of the higher-ups at the boxing gym, they knew not to fuck with me -END NOTE- they rushed into the store room and both of the bouncers squared up to me... me (completely unaware of what they just did in the bar) laughed and said "what the fuck is your problem" they |

they both then stormed away. episode 5 - both bouncers spent the night in the cells, and lost their security licenses... i had them banned from the boxing gym also. episode 6... last week - (i was completely unaware of this until tonight) the owner mentions that he has given the jobs back to the bouncers... kelly then states that if the bouncers return she will leave NOTE- kelly is a manager now -END NOTE- owner nods, and then says that he wont give the jobs back to the bouncers monday night - kelly gets fired reason:none. tonight : bouncers are working the door, enraged i keep giving them filthy looks, they refuse to look me in the eye.. owner comes in, and i state that i feel sick to the stomach that they are back there working... he simply shrugs and says "well, theres not much you can do about it" now... i think im going to quit. would you? |

uhm, definetly quite working at a place where the boss has no regard for his employees. fuck that man, even if your story wasn't as dramatic as it sounds, you need to bail from working for such a shitty boss. |

I dont know. How does it affect your working atmosphere? If you work there without fun, I dont know. Can you easily find another job? Is rohypnol illegal where you live, and can you legally prove they did it? What is (if any) the punishment on drugging people, or just posession of that shit? Plan B: Try to slip the bouncers some rohypnol while they're on duty? Get them fired :D |

its too late for any legal action, this is over a year ago now, and david seemed very intimidated by the whole situation and did not press any charges. work atmosphere is still great - everyone has fun... but kelly was my favorite staff member there, and all i can think about is attacking the bouncers, making me spend the entire shift grinding my teeth. oh, and now david will quit... |

hehehe something i forgot to mention... the story did come out about what accually happened during the christmas party, they drugged his drink, and sat him in the alley while laughing about what they had done. they claim to have not touched him like "that" and it was all a practical joke... |
