hehe... thanks for sharing. Several times I've bought avacados too late (meaning I had to buy thoose ripe ones at the store). At the store the ones who look "ripe" are ofthen ripe, but also quite damaged. And some times I've bought them and they are just disgusting, all brown and stuff. But nothing beats a good avocado, so I usually remember to buy 'em green and wait for them to "ripe" at home. |

actually - marlowe's crisp comment was quite on-topic. personally - the appearance vs. reality of many things absolutely pisses me off. like fucking water. goddamnit. |

How about this one: I bought an album. It had a really nice package and the words "Future Sound Of London presents Amorphous Androgenous The Isness." The appearance was of a very good album, judging by the past FSOL and AA efforts, but the reality was a pile of unlistenable shite. |
