If you search for (the wrong spelling of) "miminum" in
google you get 5,980 matches and if you search for (the
right spelling of) "minimum" you get 21,000,000 matches.

Therefore, on average people spell minimum as "miminum"
.0284761% of the time if my math is correct, which I round
off to .03% for simplicity.

Any fellow scholars are welcome to use my data in future
experiments.

Yeah I couldn't believe it either. If I take away the
exclamations, just "l337 pwnage," we have 207 matches.

hmm... I got 6 matches for "l337 pwnage" maybe you didn't
put quotation marks around it making it an "exact" phrase. I
think there were two competing memes (meme=someting that
gets imitated from human brain to brain) on the spelling of
the haxor style "Leet" ie "elite". One I believe was l337
and the other was 133+, but I can't search for the exact
word "133+" because it disregards the plus sign. Acording to
wikipedia, "l337 haxors" tend to be the opposite of elite
programmers with a lot of computer knowledge, which was the
original definition of hacker. The media gave negative
connotation to the term and that's why proponents of the
original term and ethic prefer the distinction of cracker
and hacker...
