The tour - is it Cylobotnia, or just Cylob, or both or what?
Hard to tell.

google reveals that he is an Angolan musician, composer, and
builder of musical instruments, sounds interesting...

a bit of info from Inge Ruigrok, 17 Sep 2002 Journalist &
media advisor for Odantalan in Angola

Born in Angola (Portuguese origin), he soon learned the
kissange (thumb piano) and the hungo (musical bow) and
studied the 12 string guitar. Victor Gama is known for his
experimental music and the new instruments he builds
inspired on traditional designs.
After completing an engineering degree in electronics and
communications and working in the area of digital signal
processing, Victor Gama started the project Pangeia
Instrumentos in 1993. The project is aimed at exploring and
creating new music and new musical instruments.
The Pangeia Instrumentos are acoustic musical instruments
designed and built as a result of a process of
experimentation and inspired in the phenomenon of
transformation of traditional instruments throughout
history. This phenomenon suggests that acoustic instruments
from ancient times can still evolve into new musical
instruments, preserving elements of identity, although
situated in a contemporary context. Through this process
Victor Gama has created collective instruments that can be
played by two and more musicians, therefore suggesting a
game of dialogue and sharing.
His music has been presented solo and with the Pangeia Group
in major international centres like CCB in Portugal, Rasa in
Holland, SESC – São Paulo in Brazil, UEM in Mozambique,
the NCPM in Shefield, UK, and in November 2002 at the ICA,
London. Additionally, he has done extensive field recordings
for several of his projects in Angola, Cuba, Colombia, South
Africa, Namibia and Brazil.
Victor Gama has exhibited his instruments and sound
installations internationally. The exhibitions have been
connected to a dynamic programme of activities including
workshops, concerts and debates.

if it's as good as the pierre bastien stuff i'm in heaven,
it's great news that rephlex release things in that vein
(even i
