from Warp Records:

EXTREMELY limited advanced microcassette for the forthcoming
new LP/CD by LFO, 'Sheath' (due out later this year, on
preorder from Warpmart soon). This microcassette comes
housed in a beautifully designed cardboard sleeve, with
small plastic pouch holding the tape: the kind that you
might once have expected to contain a small plastic
representation of Boba Fett. However, this package contains
only the forthcoming tracks from LFO's new Warp album, and
is available solely and exclusively from Warpmart!

piccy

though. fucking mental house/techno track which i'm sure is
gonna move some asses when it's released...

$20! ok, it'll be a collectors thing but warp need to sort
out their US office and some proper distribution..

Snot? What sort of title is Snot? I'm not buying a record
with a track called Snot on it*! Dear me, we've come a long
way from "We Are Back" and "Love Is the Message"

*actually I am

well. i thought "whistle while you jerk" was a little rough,
m'self. and besides...i don't think i have necessary skills
to multi-task on that level.

I was talking tongue-in-cheek. I actually find it quite
amusing... that's simply the kind of level my humour works
on :D (a not funny level)

Curse the internet and it's unique inability to render
humourous ambiguity into clarity.

ok so i guess that's the new album cover on warp's site..
it's cool, definitely better than the last 2 covers (IMO)
but it reminds me of both:
-the cover of orbital's the middle of nowhere
and
-the opening credits of the x-files (the little alien guy)
very good but not TDR's most original concept

The little man was drawn when I was 16. It means alot
really... Do you hate the continuity of albums?

.....ahhh

*gets it and feels like an assclown*

the same dude is on the frequencies cover!!! orbital ripped
off LFO/TDR ;) kidding, that was a little brash

I like the thin man... it's like returning to the old-style!
Freak has quite a Frequencies-esque feel to it, but nicely
layered to give a fresh flavour! Only fitting that the
old-style LFO fella should reappear :)

you're right, it's pretty cool to have that reference and
it's subtle enough so that it's not "damn, he on his own
dick yo" good job jivver, you and your cohorts surely turned
in another classic album cover?
