this is a new film that was just released. it is very
beatiful and unique, a meditation on life and death and
memory. i at first hesitated to recommend, because i know
the audience for this film will be small.

if you don't mind movies that move very slowly, and you
appreciate the dreamy surreal tone of filmmakers like david
lynch, and you revel in exceptional cinematography then you
absolutely should seek this film out.

the polish brothers (identical twins), who made "twin falls,
idaho" (which was a mixture of genius and failure) and
another film i haven't seen.

there are also a lot of name actors in it, but it's
definitely not a showcase for stars, it's an ensemble cast.

when i walked out of the theatre, i genuinely felt that the
entire world had been transformed. if that means anything
to you...

i generally don't seek promotional sites for films, but i
assume that there must be a site.

mind you, this is one of those films like "mulholland
drive," "waking life," "2001: a space odyssey" and so on,
and to many it will be incomprehensible, pretentious,
meaningless or boring.

again, you'll probably know if this film's for you from that
observation.

thanks for the official site, c-g.

careful with trailers, i thought "fight club" was an
action-adventure about two guys who start a fight club when
i saw the trailer!
