Now that I have some of your attention I want to be a
groupie for a minute and tell you guys about this new
album.

It fucking kicks massive fat ass!
Their single Creatures (for a while) is just one of the best
songs on this album

My name is volatile
I've been this way a long while
I'd surely like to rest
But the energy gets the best of me
It's been a wild ride
I wouldn't change a minute
I can't slow down inside
Guess that's why I live it

I wanna make a mess
I wanna blow off stress
I wanna stoke the fire
Just creatures for a while
I wanna make a mess
I wanna blow off stress
I wanna stoke the fire
Just creatures, Just creatures
It comes and goes and comes and goes

Sometimes I go a little crazy
Sometimes I go a little crazy just like you I do

this album is such a true jammin rock album, even the slow
songs are mesmerizingly beautiful.

They're another old school band but they keep on kicking
ass, and they are GREAT live.

AHHHH gotta love 'em

i used to be a big fan and i had all their albums from music
to from chaos, then i discovered better music, sold em all
and i dont care at all about them anymore, i also heard the
new one is garbage, they do the same thing every album, but
again reviews dont matter, its what you think, glad you like
it.

I just wisH I knew what you were recommending here, NUMB...
Tell me a little more, and sure for the fun of it, write a
little story about a personal memorie including you + this
band's music.

evolver is the new 311 album, theyre a combo of funk, rock,
punk, reggae, hiphop and various other things but they sound
unoriginal these days.

i like 311, but the single sort of disappointed me. i've
heard them do better. but then again, with a lot of albums,
the radio single is more than often one of the worst on the
album. this is what a few people have told me about deftones
new album....

My fondest memory of 311 waswhen I was listening to
Soundsystem's "eons" I was high with this guy I was
banging-we sat in his car-smoking and tripping out

their new single "creatures(for a while) got me off guard at
first but once hearing it on the album its fucking
great...they keep their sound throughout every album aside
from "from chaos"that was more love songs

but this album keeps to their sound--

from chaos was cool, I still have a copy of it somewhere.
But it's not my music anymore, too cliché.

blue album was shit, their worst one, i used to like
grassroots, music and transistor the best, the rest being
mediocre in comparison but now I dont care for any of it,
but i can see the appeal i guess, definately one of the
better bands being played on mainstream radio(have been for
a while)

offline Spaced from Mars (United States) on 2003-08-03 13:45 [#00806856]

how can you say transistor is better than blue album?
transistor was boring, and grassroots was okay, i still root
for T & P Combo, Hive, and Purpose. those songs are still
fucking cool.

but yeah, that said, its still a guilty pleasure...i only
like 311 about one day out of the month. every other day i'm
listening to Pumpkins and electro!

ugh blue album was so boring and generic, if 311 ever did
anything remotely interesting, it was on transistor, but
wasnt executed that well but there were a few interesting
moments.

I actually like Blue a lot...transistor was good too

but GUYS I'm talking about their new one EVolver-that album
is such a jam, its awesome.
I love it

my favorite album has to be Evolver, soundsystem, from chaos
and 311.

ahhhhhhh man

Who's Got the Herb
2 for 1, 5 for 4, half ounces
Quarter pounds, LB's and kilos
What are we looking for
Sinsemilla
What are we hoping for
What are we hoping for
Sinsemilla
Who's got the herb is what the young boys ask me
Who's got the herb and then elders tell me
Who's got the herb is what the young girls ask me
Whos' got the herb not thee dread-locks

Amen...at everything except the "i now see things i dont
like about them
that i used to" part...

Yeah all those records have been tattooed on my brain in
permanent marker. Love em to death.
