I am an 'Addict'

offline Krendo from Leicester (United Kingdom) on 2003-08-01 05:28 [#00803516]

Suddenly my status has crept up from 'Regular' to 'Addict',
even though in the 2 years since I joined this site, I must
have only been on it for about 8 hours in total. Is it
really so easy to become an 'Addict'? I thought you needed
to put in some major hours on this messageboard. Like 2000,
or something.

Then what does the points thing mean, written to the left of
'status'. Cos my points are real low.

How does the pointsystem works?
You'll receive one point per message and 5 points each time
you vote in the weekly poll. Additional points might be
gained by contributing custom remixes and artworks. Helping
us in other ways could give you points as well, like
translating or transcribing interviews.

one post = one point
one vote in the poll = 5 points
collaborating with the crew (sending reviews, artworks,
helping with discography or whatever nice info you bring)
also gives points but it depends

Autechre interview complete with scans of the photos?

This scoring method must explain why I have the fewest
points of any contributing member to this messageboard.

I have an interview with RDJ lifted from a big booklet that
comes with Trance Europe Express 3, a compilation released
back in 1994. I think there is also a list of RDJ's all-time
top-ten tunes, amongst which is Flow Coma, remixed on 2
Remixes by AFX. Do you have this interview? I guess you
probably do, seeing as you all seem to know about 50 times
as much as I do about electronic music.

Well spotted, _user!

Judging by your remark, nothing at all!
