M doughty is doing independent stuff now. I heard a radio
interview w/him a couple months ago: apparently he did all
his 'good' (AKA popular) music when he was like on heroine
or something, and now he's religous and his music is wimpy
solo acoustic blahness.

*pretends there's no reflex bashing in this thread*

irresistable bliss has been one of my favorite albums
for years. every song on it is amazing. i saw them live too
(1998 or 1999), they were great.

pretty good album. "rollin'" is the most amazing "acoustic"
instrument drum 'n' bass song i've ever heard.

but back to bliss, newbies to SC download these album tracks
(the last 3 of the album):
sleepless
the idiot kings
how many cans

lovelist albums i have of them...

FIRST EVER LIVE SHOW I WENT TO!.... they fucking opened up
for Everclear & omg they were fucking amazing compared to
that shit band.

way back in like 1997 or something.

used to like em a lot. el oso was garbage i thought except
for a few tracks, rolling was great. irresistible bliss was
good and so was ruby vroom.

i liked el oso, cuz it was the first album i heard that
incorporated live d+b with 'alt rawk'
ruby vroom had the best soul coughing track>bus to
baelzebub!
my fav two tracks of theirs were on the x-files soundtracks
though!
m.doughty has also done some rad work with other musicians
as well!
i really liked the first track off of 808 states 'don
solaris'.

also, el oso's track "circles" is probably the most idm-ish
modern rock radio single/video ever.

why?!

Quoth: the song is cool live, i like how he changes the
lyric to "fuck around in circles". with "super bon bon" i do
NOT like the added "say caaaandy baaaar" section.
