okay. i know i've posted the jazz-influenced here once or twice, but i'd seriously like some constructive feedback on it.

I like the dirty feeling you have there in "Drunk Money". Heh, I'm not very good at constructive feedback. Damn, it's getting late, I have work tomorrow. I'll listen to the tunes tomorrow, and tell you what I think. :)

had a listen.
I disliked 2, quite liked 1.
the one I liked was "drunk money". it kind of misses swing, which is what you get when doing this kind of stuff on a computer. reminds me a tiny bit of Angelo Badalamenti, but more of Barry Adamson (who, btw, has also featured on Lynch soundtracks --> Lost Highway).
quite nice. the strange beat-thing in there didn't quite work though. it kind of felt uneasy, like you didn't know how to put it in, or structure it within the track. this seems more so when I hear the ending.
yeh yeh yeh.

yeah i can definitely add some polish to these tracks. funny you should mention angelo badalamenti... he was a big inspiration for a lot of this stuff. adamson too. i own lost highway soundtrack -- good stuff.

i didn't like "drunk money" at all, the sounds, the stiff programming, the predictable, cliché progression... not my thing, at all.
normally i'd prefer to not comment at all if i don't like a track, but since you've solicited feedback so vigorously, i have to be honest. i certainly don't mean to offend in my criticism.

no it's alright. negative criticism i actually accept, because it's honest. but thanks anyway. and no i am not offended. this was just a sideproject i was contemplating. i wrote like 12 tracks of this stuff. i'm probably going to stick to breakcore anyways.
