How can you possibly call that video crap? It is the most perfect visual representation of audio that has ever ever been created. As far as the price, you get a dvd with 3 videos, and an EP with 3 songs... there's much more worthless things you could be spending your money on. |

I've only seen their faces, they look like glue sniffers to me so maybe you're right. Not that the music was any cop, but Metallica's last album retailed for like a pound more, had 11 tracks on the CD and 11 tracks on the DVD. QOTSA's last album retailed for a pound more and had 18 tracks, and 6 tracks on the DVD. Now I'm sure that GG cost millions to produce to make up the cost, riiiight? |

hard to tell when someone's joking about electronica artists being poor since most of them supposedly are (insert mike paradinas' help starving kids planet mu infomercial). but yea i think some of these stuckup cats on warp need to take a lesson from that playbook and diversify. i think prefuse 73 has got it right, he's involved in a lot of interesting projects. beans is pretty open too but he's an emcee, it's easier. the rest? well, not too daring.. |

Totally, Prefuse does it really well, cowardice/vanity/jealousy/reverse snobery is a big part of it I think, it's not all nobel and pure as some will have you believe. |
