i was never suggesting that clowns were/ever have been funny.
I just remeber reading about these books, and finding them so depressing. They are meant for chuildren like from 9-11.

They are. And the thing is, the author looks really bitter The best line in the descriptons parts is:
"Though Dallas scavenges from other people's junk and he smells like dirt and mustard, he doesn't seem strange to Buddy when she learns his deep, dark secret."
I thought that was great.

i know thats what i'm saying.
I think we should all write an iopen to letter to the author and ask her why she like to scare little children.
Perhaps she has a ginger bread house

in the 70s, in Sweden, there came all of this stupid books that would tell children the reality...
they were real crappy, with titles like "Lasses' grandfather is dead"... well, that's one thing I do not miss about the 70s.

well that book, I actually read it as a child and didn't like it at all.
It was about Lasse's parents who told him his grandfather is dead, and then I think the book was about him (Lasse) asking questions about it.
It had real boring pictures to, in few colors, like purple, orange and red...
*ugh*...

they don't look so happy. do clowns really need makeup and wear weird clothes to be called clowns? most of them act like clowns anyway - they could be naked and would still be called clowns...
hm, maybe this makeup and weird-clothing thing is just a queer/gay 'thing'...
