I'm going to see them live in November this year with one of
my best mates. It is a great album. Both great on headphones
and loudly on speakers.

Now Druqks is a headphones album, I was so stoned the other
night listening to 54 Cymru Beats, I entered another level
of consciousness. Not sleep. I was in the zone. It was
monufuckingmental.

Thought it was quite simple.

I've just seen them @ werchter for the second time in my
life, it was even better than at pinkpop. Radiohead will
always be my favorite band and especially my favorite live
band.

the rise and FALL of reggie perring

i most enjoy this album going to sleep so its quite ironic
how i seem to fall into semi conciousness during backdrifts
(not the best they've done, but sooooooooooooooooooooo beta
band :] ) only to have the living daylights kicked out of me
by the beginning of 'go to sleep'. seems to me thom yorke
heard this when going to sleep had the same experience and
thought, i know....

some great lines on this album.

'there's always a siren, singing you to shipwreck'

'Get the eggs get the flan in the face'

'There's a gap where we meet where i end and you begin'

i have always loved his lyrics.

^^^ a crazy wierd time for me, late in my college career.

very awesome, but, i couldn't handle that anymore i don't
think.

I listen to everything with headphones... most of my music
listening is through my portable cd player!

headphones is another deal...
I really like the clarity my phones bring, compared to my
shitty speakers.
but my speakers and my tiny sub - I can still get base from
it... and that is fun.
perhaps I should hook up my speakers + sub to my
headphones?
just getting base from them and letting all that nice sound
coming from the headphones?
but also, I would like to get some new speakers, because
it's also nice hearing the stuff from distance...
but a lot of my listening is from headphones to, (I have a
mp3 player on my mobile phone).

you have to think of radiohead songs as abstract paintings.
a lot of thom's lyrics is a mish-mash of partial thoughts,
phreases he's heard, and strings of words that just sound
good together.

"the rain drops" repeated 49 times was purly becuase it
sounded good. doesn't make it stoopid or unintellectual.

well that is definitionally unintellectual but that's not
the same thing as failed intellectualism

hail is mediocre... and sounds no different with
headphones...

it was an album done fast with no attention to detail.

still good listen i guess

It is great with headphones, very great. I don't see why so
many people have such beef with this album, alot of the
so-called filler tracks arn't bad at all, and tracks like
2+2+5, Where I end and you Begin, There There, and Wolf at
the Door are among their best imo . It's the best album
I've purchased in a long time for sure, can't wait to see
them at alpine valley next month.
