Mr. Velcro Fastener IS from Finland, from a city called
Turku.

I haven't heard his stuff though, except the track he did
with Erlend Oye. Which is awesome;)

so close yet so far...

I've never heard his (their?) stuff beyond seeing him (them)
play live two summers ago in Turku. I think it was right
after Autechre stopped playing. It was a hot day and my mind
was spinning from Ae, so I think we left quite early, so I
don't recall much from the set. Was quite good I guess. But
I was thirsty.

But then I saw them - and yes, it's two people - in an
electro documentary so I'm again intrigued. (But I think
they should call themselves Mr. and Mrs. Velcro Fastener, or
"the gay duo".)
