yes
i hate this weather. i hate summers.
i'm really like paralized by the heat.
All the doors and windows are open, a fan is blowing... but
it doesn't help a bit, i still feel like i'm melting away
:-o

I'm constantly thirsty, and it's unbelievable how much i'm
sweating... it's disgusting.

I won't even start about the mosquitos that kept me up all
last night..

In sweden right now it's about 27-28 C, even in the
northernmost parts... I guess I shouldn't complain when I've
been screaming about summer all winter.

yes.. . its a human trait to bitch about the weather all
year round.. . too hot.. . too cold.. . too leaves falling
off trees.. . too leaves growing on trees again allowing
bugs to hide in and ambush attack you when you go to get the
mail. ..

Thank George W. Bush for dropping support for the Kyoto
agreement. I bet he's got a half-million dollar AC unit in
every one of his private rooms.

Greenhouse gases anyone? Can I get you some more humid
death heat?

offline catharsis from Toronto (Canada) on 2003-07-16 07:48 [#00781431]
Points: 836 Status: Regular

I agree with the humidity part. I live in the Niagara
Penninsula of Canada (close), which happens to be the most
humid part of the country. British Columbia can get warmer,
but the humidity doesn't compare.

The humidity prevents sweat from evaporating, so you never
cool down. Sweat just sticks to you and forms a paste along
with the rest of the air pollution. It's great for your
skin.

Actually, the southernmost tip of Canada (my hometown), is
actually further south than parts of California. (I'm not
joking, but most American's don't believe me).

Holy shit yeah. It's very very hot here (about 37°C) and
that's very unusual for Holland, so nacmat I really don't
think you can compare Spanish and Dutch heat. I almost died
in the train today when I got back from work 1pm. The worst
part is when you've walked quite fast (to get a train) and
then when you go sit down in an unairconditioned train.
Fucking hell. :(

My room is cool though and I can't stand wearing more than
just shorts.

I just got back from my holidays to the southern tip of
Sicily. Let me tell you guys that that was HOT. The wind
blew like a hairdryer and that was refreshing compared to
the norm.

Fucking amazing country just don't be treading on anyones
toes. You never know who they could be. Give someone the
finger at a traffic light and wake up with a severed horses
head in your bed...

i hear ya...

i dislike being overly hot .. but who doesn't?
i prefer spring and fall... extremes of either hot or cold
are uncomfortable.

I like the heat. Heat is something that belongs to the
summer, so I never complain (unless I'm stuck in a room or a
car or something that has no air, and is hot like hell).
If it's too cold, or rain too much, I might mention it
though. But now it's ok, perhaos just a bit too much
humidity.

I like spring/fall because they are transitionseasons. So
much change in nature you can really feel it. Autumn is
really nice when the leaves change and drop, and you light
candles in the evening and watch the rain fall down.
looking forward to that. the winter is nice in the
begining... but it's too damn long!
Feels like 6 mounths...
