all squarepusher does live is play mp3s that are slightly different from the album versions. and he'll probably only be playing from dyks and go plastic i can't remember whats going on at the inferno that night, but thats where i'm going |

Squarepusher was really good at Glasontbury a couple of weeks ago, so you should be in for a treat! Seemed to me like he wasnt just playing mp3s aswell, he had his bass guitar there for starters! He only played 2 tracks i'd heard before; dimotane co and anstrom feck (very fucked up versions of both), the rest was all new stuff. Sadly he only played for an hour, reacon he'll do a full show on his tour. Plus Luke Vibert is supporting, you lucky people! We want reviews and pictures. |

how "live" can you get with electronic music anyway? most of the electronic people i've seen dont seem to be doing much more than playing sequences of their laptops with a few effects on top & all vsnares does is mix cds together. squarepusher makes it interesting with his bass guitar, crowd interaction & really good live versions of his tracks. plus he knows how to work a crowd and draw people in to his music. |
