I usually have 'up all night' on radio 5 or 4 or whatever it is.. topical chat on all sorts of crap.
I really wish Alan Partidge did 'norfolk nights' at bed time..

now that people can burn mix cd's at home and car audio is a big thing, young people don't really listen to the radio.. it's only the old fuddy duddies who want classic rock or oldies who tune in. before i got a cd player in the car i listened to the radio for a while (rock, hip-hop, community owned jazz, and college) and it was pretty decent but not great (except college but that could be improved too). community radio is rare and usually restricted to talk or one style of music; college radio is a crapshoot, i'm lucky to be in range of a good one (http://wmuc.umd.edu). we don't have anything like the BBC unfortunately. a lot of americans, not just us music snobs, are becoming disgusted with the monopoly and stale format of radio and are really relying on mix cd's or albums.

listening to druqks is great when youre a stoned sleeper. but since im not falling asleep easily i need really spheric stuff like vladislav delays conoco or selected ambient works cdr. rhubarb is like one of the best songs for me... i eagerly need new stuff like that, maybe i make a new compilation with my little sister spheres and similar stuff.

Also, Vladislav Delay's Multila and Anima are amazing to mong out to.
Has anyone else heard two albums? I SERIOUSLY recommend them.
