Already signed the petition when it was first created. What
good is it going to do though? Warp will release it if and
when they want to.

Ewwwwwww, gross!

Yeah, I'd like to get my hands on a nice CD Hab. No Hab 3
through... it would be Hab in name only.

this is interesting - the availability of what seems over
and over again to be rated one of aphex twins best works
(and i agree for what its worth) is unavailable to purchase
and hasn't been for quite sometime.

but why is this? yes everyone has it on mp3 but this isn't
like owning it and the 2 vinyls go for extortionate prices
on ebay. so what is the purpose of not re-releasing it and
letting the fans have there precious habs? is it purely to
create a collectors market for aphex twin and keep some
level of mystery? and now he has *ahem* 'fallen out' with
warp records is it now less likely a repress will ever see
the light of day?

or perhaps its MORE likely because of that! :)

"on cd-r is fine"

I haven't got the equipment to burn cd-r's. And i don't
wanna download it on the computer, really like it... and
then not be able to listen to it anywhere besides with the
computer. Because the sound here is shitty and well... i
just prefer listening to music in my room or with my
discman.

So i'm just waiting for the re-release. It's bound to happen
someday!

Hangable Auto Bulb has some nice melodic tracks with
rockhard beats ontop:
HAB2 - arched maid via rdj
HAB1 - Laughable Butane Bob (insanely good track)

I'm not trying to say anything new with this thread. I'm
just venting my frustration that I don't own the HABs. I've
only heard Laughable Butane Bob and Mashed Potato anyway.
Both excellent tracks and I'd like them on something other
than crappy mp3.

is it possible to press a copy on vinyl when you have the
original (without quality loss).

is it possible to make wavs of originals and let people
press their own?

with a presswerk in germany its possible to pay like 350¤
for the plate and then 1.50¤ per vinyl (100 copies)
or 1.00¤ per vinyl (300 copies)...
+ 1¤ for labels and sleeve.

thats less than 8¤ for 55 people (the amount of people
signing the petition so far) and we would have 2 copies for
everyone to pass around friends...

i dont think we have to be afraid of lawyers because we wont
have to sell them by a distributer but from hand to hand...
who shall find out, eh?

100 copies would be ripped off our hands...
so what kind of original would be needed?

is a original vinyl enough?

if i will do this there would be no way for them to get

in fact id say please e-mail them,

so i wrote a e-mail with the petition link:

dear sir, madam,

i would like to draw your attention on this petition to
re-release hangable autobulb 1 and 2.
-->http://www.petitiononline.com/hab12/petition.html

this is just a poorly promoted link. the amount of buyers is
much more i guess.

i hope they go for it...

possibility of a re-release a while ago. They said it may
eventually happen, but don't hold your breath.

hep, gasp, cough :P

well on some site (wasnt it joyrexes?)
a release at the end of 2003 was mentioned. i wouldnt be sad
if it was hab compilation on vinyl.

probably nothing will happen but all this talking already

i read it...
*searching*

http://howisya.tripod.com/f2k.html

i havent heard any confirmation or another source displaying
this...

"In fact, the site linked here mentions a new (or old
unreleased?) Caustic Window release at the end of the
year."

dated 2003... i think...

i think i remmember having read suspicions on the white
caustic album or whatever its been called, yknow the 4 copy
thingie...

the number left to the text indicates its news from 2003 so
the caustic window compilation could not be neant with
this.
but maby its just the compilation we already have.
and the 2003 news are only referring to the dvd.
whatever....

wrote to CeDe and the nice folks sent me a reponse:

"also, das mit dieser cd ist so ne sache:
wir hatten sie noch nie im hause - sie ist
seit dezember bei verschiedenen lieferanten
bestellt, obwohl sie auch gemäss www.allmusic.com
zu existieren scheint. "---" heisst soviel
gemeldet wird: go for it..!"
