Rrichard Devine was apparently supposed to release this
full-length LP this year, but its been taken off the
upcoming release list at schematic.net completely now.
Anyone know what is going on? Has it been canned?

That is true :)

Well actually, i'm here most days, but I just don't tend to
post much. Maybe if you checked my postcount over at
Q3W, you'd realise why I don't post much here :p

hehe thx. when i see a decent thread here (and at watmm), i
don't mind contributing, but I tend to spend most of my time
discussing electronica via slsk/newsnet or irc.

to please you though, i promise to make the effort and post
more here >:E

Release date October seventh (this tuesday). I just got a
copy of it, and it is amazing. More lipswitch than
aleamapper in structure, more aleamapper than lipswitch in
sound design. Crunchier, denser sound than much before. More
melodies, lusher pads than I have heard in a while. A bit
more repetetive than earlier stuff, but invariably more
sophisticated. As far as I can see, this is what everything
he has done up untill now culminates to. This album is
brilliant.

based upon the tracks that i've heard, i wholeheartedly
agree with Taxidermist.

What's Devine's bestestest track? I don't think I've ever
heard his music.

go for 'itsuko' from asect:desect. i believe there are
different versions of the same track. and this version is
somewhat more melodious.

Is itsuko the first song on the promo disc? If so, that song
fucks my head up. Its also the most complex song on the
album.
