I keep dong it l8ly and its really annoying anyone else, day dream but not cause ur not thinking..?

Day dreaming is great. I also like that bit just before sleep - where you're dreaming wide awake, and you sort of come out of it and go "woah" and then fall asleep.

I just thought it was odd how much time had passed whilst i had been doing nothing at all , it seemed like 2 seconds!
i like it when you're just waking up but ur not aake so u can kinda influence ur dream and what happens etc :D

Well, I could be way off and don't want to imply anything bad, but it might actually be a defense mechanism. A way to disassociate yourself from your surroundings, for one reason or the other. I tend to do it too, but everyone's reasons are different, and usually very unconscious.

Yeah, that would be one of the reasons. And probably the most common one, which is why I think most people asking themselves why they are daydreaming would already be able to pinpoint boredom as the cause if it were the case. I do it when people are talking to me and I'm not interested for whatever reason. It's rude but unavoidable sometimes.
