Is anyone else constantly making compilations? I find it to
be great fun:

-Choosing the right artwork
-Choosing the tracks
-Giving the CD a name
-Choosing the text/colour
-Deciding whether to mix or not
-Adding CD labels (with copyright jargon!)

And all of it is completed with high quality glossy paper -
I'm always so proud of them!

My latest one's called "FOIL". i made it for my Mum's
cafe...

Tracklisting
1. Icon - Desire (Icarus Mix)
2. The Crystal Method - Over The Line
3. JAroen - Swee Swee (a guy on this board!)
4. Underworld - Jumbo
5. Squarepusher - Cooper's World
6. Deep Forest - Yuki Song
7. Brothomstates - Adozenaday
8. Aphex Twin - Delphium
9. Itchee and Scratchee - Like Stars
10. John Tejada - Summer Rain
11. Amorphous Androgynous - The Lovers
12. Leftfield - Swords
13. Dykehouse - Again, Again

It's pretty sweet :)

Anyway...what comps have you guys made?

I like them... and even after they've outlived their
usefulness, they can be like little time capsules if you
save them. I've got a compilation from years ago with lots
of Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, and even the Presidents of
the United States.

the latest compilation i made was for my dad. i played some
BOC and he asked me to do a compilation with relaxing
electronic tracks. i accidently broked it few days after i
gave it to him, so i burned another copy

speaking of presidents of the united states, i remember
seeing them performing live on nickelodeon when i was
younger, and they played that "kitty" song.. and when they
got to the end there was no editing, bleeping or anything..
just "Fuck you kitty" clear as day for all of the little
kiddies to hear..
