I think it's a sample from a film ("The Burbs").

Cool, if you're going to be talking over the top I'd stick
with instrumental music - a lot of people (particularly
middle aged people I've noticed) have real difficulty
concentrating on what you're saying if there are lyrics in
music playing.

He should have stuck the line "Ray, this is Walter...
arrrghhhhh!!!" in it too.

autechre (amber and garbage)
bogdan razcynski (my love i love)
astrobotnia part 1
boards of canada (anything)

from this I will choose... its only two hours of music, and
its not possible to dj, so I will just put the albums that
can be played from start to end... with some exceptions in
which I will change in the middle of some album in case its
needed...

Any chance you could make up 2 mix cd-rs beforehand and
stick them in the multi-cd changer? I know you could
probably put those releases in the CD changer and program
it, but you'd be in a tricky position if there's a momentary
powercut/someone trips over the power cable half way
through- you'd have to reprogram the order very quickly.

one cd mix I did:

kid A
idioteque - kid A
pir
music is math
nine - amber
my love I love track 6
like spinning plates
life in a glass house - amnesiac
to win her love - courtesy of choice - leila
nlogax
june 9th
everyone
sweden - astrobotnia part 1
dwr budr - in sides - orbital
rakimou

(total 78 minutes)

apart from this cd, I will bring garbage ep to play it all
the way till the end

so I have 78+40 minutes of music with just one change

thats about what the presentation lasts

in case of change I am bringing also with me:
preemptive strike and endtroducing by dj shadow
and all the cds that have the tracks of the compilation I
did

I didnt want to use any aphex or the famous autechre cos I
have used them in past occasions... I wanted somthing really
ambient but also changing moods

do you like the mix cd?
I accept critics
