if you like sigur ros its a must. the last album was great
- finally we are no-one. not much similarity between mum
and arovane/manual/BoC.

I'd recommend: "Yesterday Was Dramatic - Today Is OK"

Beautiful melodies, and nice beats.

múm only has 2 albums (and some eps with remixes and such)
yesterday was dramatic - today is ok
it´s the firtst one... its pretty simple and
electronic-ish, very influentied by aphex twin from the
richard d james album era, and with a bit of singing there
and there.
the second album, "finally we are no one", its more
conceptual, and goes back and forth between classical music
and electronics. expect strings, guitar, basses, clicky
beats, and childish singing.
its very melodic idm, but its very indie and pop too. i
guess that if you like boc, and arovane, you will like them.

yes, 'finally we are no one' is their best..

if you like arovane, manual and boc.. such, you should also
get the 'please smile my noise bleed' ep.. as it has a remix
by arovane along with some morr music people.
