Roskilde 2003!

I just returned from what i can say is my biggest musical
experience ever.

Thursday: Starting out with some beers & smokes at the camp
- off to the last part of erol alkan - then to fc kahuna,
which was really great. Fc Kahuna was really more
entertaining than i expected it to be. Then some
euro-techno-trance-crap dj, i don't even recall his name, we
walked back to the camp after the first track. Ended up
smoking a loot.

Friday: Personally it was one of the biggest days at
roskilde. Starting with Hobby Industries (thomas knak aka
opiate, dub tractor, manual, Christoffer brus, acustic,
spinform and orchard teamed) which was an really great
electronica experience. Those danes can handle it. Moving
over to kashmir, which also was rather good. Going back to
the camp for more beer n stuff. Getting ready for
squarepushaaa! moved into the place; odeon;
sqquueuueaarrepuussshhaaa; moving to the front of the scene.
All i can say about this set was amazing, i can't describe
it as i were in somekinda trance watching it. I recall him
playing Dimotane Co, which really blew the audience away.
Then after that runnig over to Metropol to watch THE
STREETS! Mike is own! There were A LOT of people there, it
was incredible. Going back to the camp, preparing (making
cups of water bottles, filling them with beers) for sigur
ros. I found out that my legs were hurting mad, so i just
sad down and enjoyed the concert. It was great, really
great, really really exciting. Then we decided to go watch
coldplay which was so bad, we escaped down to metropol to
hear darren emerson, which also sucked pretty hard.
_returned to camp (sleep)_

Saturday: we only saw blur, mew and junkie xl that day - the
weed blew us away.

Sunday: This was the biggest day of the festival, starting
the day by smoking 2 joints, drinking beers and going to
metro area (minimalistic techno sucks). Going back to the
camp, smoking more, preparing for MASSIVE ATTACK & BJORK.
Running to the stage to get the best spots, right infront of
them, the most amazing and political concert i've ever seen;
MASSIVE ATTACK. With the display showing all kinds of facts,
All against america propaganda (suits me fine). It was
really awesome. Then running to bjork, the best concert ever
to be played. She starts off with some classics, then
pulling in some AFXÍSH beats with fireworks n stuff,
undescripable. The best concert i've ever been to.

All in all this was the best thing that i could ever spend 4
days. The mood was great all the time. It was just so great.

THE SAME TIME!!!

Nobody else went or what? it was a fucking amazing concert,
only topped by björk......

Only, i didnt really know the material from squarepusher
that well... what the fuck was that first track with the
vocoder voice going "music, music" ???? never heard it.
Fucking awsome concert that. People wanted more, but he
wasnt allowed to do it unfortunately...

Isn´t Dot Allison touring with Massive Attack now?
I suppose it´s her, Horace, 3d and Daddy G laying the
vocals.
Daddy G is rock solid.

My pusher playlist:

Nothing reccognisable
I think it was a mixture of brand new material and improvs!

One of the tracks rang a bell, a vocoder voice going "Music,
Music!", drumm n bass beats, and some synths playing along
with the voice. sounded like his new hit, and yet i felt
like i heard it before somewhere!

The Drumm n bass + heavy metal guitars tracks where brand
new and totally extreme!

Björk also played a new track, if its something from a new
album, expect it to be pretty harsh!

Hmmm. I know the material well from the following
Squarepusher albums:

Do you know squarepusher?
Go plastic
Budakhon mindphone
Music is rotted one note

So thats not really a lot, but i know he played nothing from
his two latest! not even red hot car or some shit. So that
was strange! i really hope its from a new cd or something.
