so, my girlfriend is about driving down to visit me, but she mentioned we need to "talk" We haven't seen each other in weeks since school ended, but we've dated for 7 months, so I didn't think it would be a problem. Anyway, I'm fretting SO inbelievably right now. I care about her more than any girl ever, and well, I've done the best I could. So in an 2 hours, if I write back to say I got dumped, you all better hold me. |

yeah, I thought so too! everything was great. bliss city. When stuff/disagreements came up, we dealt with them pretty well. I think she's worth it, but now that she's gone away, she prolly has better things around her, and when she comes back, it'll be too late. |

the trick is that if we disagree, in this case about how to work out a long distance relationship, she doesn't like to compromise. If I want to say I love her everday, and she wants more space, there is no in between. that's hard for me, but I'll give into her a bit, but if we meet in the middle, she feels like we both gave up on our morals as opposed to compromising lovingly. |

hey man, I know exactly what you're going through... I panic just like you, and I freak out over every little thing... but all you can do is try and relaxe, and think positive thoughts... and if she does tell you want you don't want to hear, man yes it sucks, but you just have to deal... give it some time, and maybe even try to be friends if possible... it wouldn't be the same obviously, but at least she'd still be in your life... just go about this the right way, and things will work out for the best man... we're all hoping it's good news, but if it happens to not be, we're here for ya mate... |
