I've made a really could echo on my snare,now all I wan't is just the echo to play and not the initial snare hit.
Is there anyway to get rid of the initial hit?

what you could also do is invert the original snare and mix it with the echoed sound...

render the hit + echo, open up a wave editor, cut the snare off, and save the echo as a wave, open in a floops channel

Audacity is a freeware one... has a useful sound removal tool too.. search it on google.

Audacity is good but make sure you save often if you are working on something big, because it likes committing illegal operations and closing occasionally.
