here comes the flaming...

but I think they are really good. Great production, beats,
and synth lines.

Party music for sure... but damn good it is!

Am I alone in this? :-\

you know... i never understood why they were refered to as
the US answer to the chemical brothers...

they are really different imo... i mean ok, the beats are
similiar... but most of TCM use synth drums, where as TCB
use alot of samples... TCM is just more synth based in
general...

its boring, repetitive and its just like a "hollywood" take
on electronic music, its so flashy. everything about them
and chem bros doesnt do it for me in any ways at all.(my
opinion though, dont get worked up over it)

thanks man :) which ones where they?

www.kcinsu.com is my site... lots of stuff to dl... but
nothing is really recent.

I just bought Logic 6, and getting used to working with it.
Also, im learning csound... so Im spending alot of time with
that.

So, no real new songs (unless you havnt heard any
recently)... but I do plan on writing an LP this summer. I
have about 8 tracks started, in various phases of
completion... and it should all be done at the end of
august... at which time I will be looking around for prices
to get 500 copies propressed. Ill keep you updated!

Additionally... sometime this summer, ill be releaseing a
limited 100 copy run of CDRs of my ambient music. It will
come with artwork etc, but will be on CDRs...

The full album for the fall will be more glitch, melodic,
downtempo stuff, opposed to my more ambient experimental
works....

:-D

"Crystal Method" is fucking boring nowadys, there are better
Breakbeat PRODUCERS (Chris Clark, Plump Djs etc) !

Another thing that annyos me, that you can hear either a
FatBoySlim or a Crystal Method track in almost every dumass
Hollywood action movie !

I love TCM. Got both Tweakend and the first one (cant
remember the name). I think they sound like the natural
progression of old Chem bros (but thats just my opinion).
It's very fun to check out their studio on their site!

I agree with not buying anything after vegas they burned out
real fast, no real innovation on the electronic scene since
then

I agree with not buying anything after vegas, aphex twin was
even quoted in an interview saying they were a watered down
version of the chemical brothers and he refused to go and
listen to their set while touring with them and the sneaker
pimps
