*warning: slight spoilers
Spike Lee directs, Edward Norton Stars, and it sucks

the next day i found the original book and read the back and
realised it sucked as an adaptation too... the book sounds
great.
Crappy dialogue, unbeliveable shit "clubbbing" scene,
fractured narative, silly "twist" and spike Lee repeats his
"Do the right Thing" racial slurs dialog (it really worked
in that film), with a god-awful attempt at conjuring up the
diversity of NYC.

Plus... his imagery of post-911 NYC could have been done by
some asswipe film-student. Ed nortons ok in it but has to
deal with sad sad scripting
in a word ... forgedaboudit

I guess you'd know.. coming from fucking DUBLIN and all.. u
missed the whole point.. and by the way.. that 'do the right
thing' part was in the book.. there was no covert 'post-911
NYC imagery' whatever u meant by that.. jesus.. the dialogue
is fine the club scene is cool w/ dj cipha sounds

don't pay attention to this 'review'

"don't pay attention to this 'review'"

actually, bumping this review to the top might not then be
the best thing to do..

well some people need to know when they're wrong. and
considering no one paid attention in the beginning.. there's
probably no danger in there being any more than 7 posts in
this thread from here on out
