Oh my goodness, this album is so good... not a bad track on
it... I just love it all, it has such a cool dark, laid back
vibe to it... the songs don't meander either I don't
think... a bunch of em play for 9 or 10 minutes, repeating
the same riffs a lot, yet they never bore me... that's
another thing I like about it, it never attempts to impress
just for the sake of it, with huge over the top solos...
which is one of the main things that turns me off from jazz,
solos that are so fast you can't follow...

I also really love the drumming... especially on Flite, and
Man With the Movie Camera... oh, and the stand up bass is
real nice...

my fav tracks are: All Things to All Men (probably my
favorite rap track), Burn Out, Evolution, Man With the Movie
Camera

do you know that there is a new CO cd out?

its called man with a movie camera. (no its NOT the single)

this is the soundtrack to the move with the above name. its
a 1929 silent film, that they rescored.

there are a few tracks that are on it, that are on
everyday...but this CD was actually made BEFORE everyday.
tracks that appear on both this and everyday... the original
tracks are from TMWAMC, and they were redone/replayed for
Everyday.

so yeah, most of the tracks are "new" but even the ones that
appear on everyday are different version

RECOMMENDED

:-D

they're not bad, bit too jazzy for my liking but pleasant
enough. there's a track called 'channel 1 suite' which i
really like though, dunno where/when its from. think its a
few years old now.

I absolutely adore All Things to All Men... I find the rap
part so touching, like he's just baring his soul... I also
love the harp solo thing at the end of the song...

You are in for a treat. I saw them last September and they
were the best thing I've seen live. The drummer is amazing.

They played not far from here about a month ago but I
couldn't go :(
