hey it must have been mood...
...anyway i like it much , although i mostly liked repetive
snare-drums ( if i can call them like that ) on
start.....but melody is good too , sounds like soundtrack to
some movie about house on hills-that's my thought for now ,
maybe it dependson when you are listening - in good or bad
mood
if you are able to create music that anyone can take by
himself - that's the point , i think ( i think you will
understanbd me,,bad english :)))

hehe.

thanks for listening..i do understand what you are saying
for the most part. i know it's difficult to communicate what
you want to say exactly if english isn't you first
language.. but that's okay.
and sure.. you can remix it!.. tell me about it when you
finish it though.
i'll give you my opinion on your tracks tomorrow morning..
for software i'm using fl studio 4 with my own samples for
the most part, cool edit pro 2.0 and absynth for some of the
string sounds..
thanks again for your time....

you've learned well that it's never a good thing to have
speakers turned loud when listening to my "music"

this is interesting... it sort of reminds me of something
autechre might do, but darker sounding than anything ive
heard from them. i really like it up to about 1:00, but
after that it just repeats the same thing and drops the
interesting melody. the strings are tense like it could be
in a horror movie or something.

eh..
i guess it does sound like a bad mood.
i like the fart sound at the end but other than that i find
the track a little unpleasant to listen to. not that i
think fart sounds are nice to listen to but.. you know what
i mean.

this is not nice music. i guess that was your intention
though.
whether it's good music or not... i can't really say.

this is not as successful as other tracks i've heard from
you, it starts out nice and upbeat with the static
percussion, but the discordant synth, while viscerally
giving voice to your state of mind, is too grating. i begin
to enjoy the discord a little when the synth stabs start to
melt into the fx, but by then it's locked into a delay
pattern and soon ends. born of frustration, frustrating to
listen to.

that sums it up pretty well..
it's really not something pleasant to listen to.

yeah i agree.. it maybe could use some kind of speech
sample..or vocal.. but i can't really think of what that
could be..
i was thinking maybe from the movie "altered states" when he
is describing his father's last words.."horrible.. his last
words were 'horrible', like the end was so horrible that we
can't even imagine" or it was something like that..

i'm pretty sure i deleted all of the sounds used to make it
after i completed the track as my computer is coming very
close to running out of space. if i find any of them i'll
let you know, but even then i'm on 56k here so sending huge
wav files would be kind of tough.

I love the harmonies on the electronic melody after the
minimalist intro... very nice. Really was hoping you'd play
off that more.

Nitpick: The strings are way too fast for the samples you
chose... longer drawn out string lines would be more
effective, or some string samples with a sharper attack and
some vibrato.

I'll give the same comment as I did on weatherdstoner's
track... the track climaxes really early and the rest is
downward energy. It might be what you were going for, but it
didn't sound like it. Maybe rearranging the parts to have
the cool electronic harmony later, to build up to there, or
something like that, would be more effective? I don't
know...

I like the first 23 seconds a LOT

I think the rest gets too overwhelmed by the strings.

I've got a track up if you feel like checking it out, on
some thread someplace near the top now
