As long as Uncle Sam's boys do all the necessary to protect
my family and my freedom, I don't care about anything they
say on TV. Stupid suckers.

Uncle Sam doesn't give a rat's ass about your family or
freedom.

O M G!! =(
Good article.

"I'm afraid of Americans" by David Bowie could be the
soundtrack to this thread , (the Photek remix)

The "possible weapons found" reports always made me chuckle
The computer generated mobile bio-weapons labs were also
quite funny

I remember some report about this supposed remote controlled
device for sending in biological weapons. Turns out the
thing was patched together from an old chainsaw engine or
something and many parts were held on with duct tape, with
an effective range of 500 metres. I forget what the actual
intended use was, but so much for an advanced bio-weapons
program.

i'd lean more towards brainwashed.

it's happened to many civilizations throughout history.
americans aren't the first culture to put their faith in an
extreme leader dispite facts to the contrary.

although, i could be wrong, but, i don't think dubya's tried
to say that we have found wmds. he has said that we will,
which is looking less and less likely, and before the war he
was sure they were there... but, i don't think he is
actually the one that is saying they've been found now.

well if americans are brainwashed wouldn't they listen to
dubya about not having wmd? this just proves how ignorant
our population can be.....it's not that they believe
everything they hear, they just don't listen in the first
place!

i just think the populace bought into all of the pre-war WMD
propaganda that the administration was pumping out.

it's not that dubya is trying to convince us now that there
aren't any... it's just that he's not saying that
they've been found either, and the people are still somewhat
rallied behind him.

of ignorance and stupidity or more aptly, stupid ignorance.
why wasn't i polled? they always poll the guy with the
biggest chew-stain on his shirt or with the longest mullet i
think.

Im pretty sure your being sarcastic.. . but thats how stupid
the whole situation is becoming.. . people like bin laden
are thriving because of this war in iraq.. . more arab
people than ever are joining religious factions that are
beaming their hate at americans.. . america is probably not
even going to bother justifying their war on iraq.. . they
will just start another one before they finish up there. ..

and please.. . dont let anyone dare say that your government
is doing this to protect your freedom.. . no one has freedom
anymore.. . unless perhaps your lucky enough to live on a
secluded island by yourself. ..

We do the opinion polls for ABC news at my work. While I
haven't conducted a survey like this one, in the article I
posted, the results are true. And that is random samples,
our numbers are completely random.

One survey that I was on, it was either just before our
invasion of Iraq, or shortly after it begun, one question
was to the effect: "If Iraq uses weapons of mass destruction
on our troops, would you support or oppose having the US use
nuclear weapons?" And the scary thing is, most people
answered yes.
Most also answered yes, the war would be justified, even if
we didn't find any weapons of mass destruction.
