I say "Chris Clark is like Aphex" because at places on his
newest releases "Cheramics in the bomb" and "Empty the
bones of you" he sounds very much like Aphex.
"A Council" for example is extremely Aphex'ish , same sounds
,same sequencing style and fx use and it even sounds like he
has sampled Richards mother haha!.
He even acts as Aphex in interviews , bullshit answers and
stuff.
He copies autechre a great deal too , listen too the track
"Betty" and you will see what i mean (the track Wietrmx21 or
whatever comes too mind)
I love the music tho , one of the new tracks "Umbilical Hut"
almost had me in tears. =)

I didn't however see the resemblence as much on "Clarence
Park" as others did.
And don't ever call me a dumb fuck again.

Chris Clark uses similar production methods to Aphex, uses
similar sounds, and creates tracks of a similar style.

Banjo and jews harp would fit nicely together.

Flappypands, we should still employ cheese organs...

clarence park, i feel, has a very original sound - one I
wouldn't mistake for either Autechre or Aphex Twin

yeah, i didnt really think he was that similar to aphex on
clarence park...it has obvious influences, yes.. but has its
own style for the most part
and about the piano tracks... c'mon.. its not as if aphex is
the only electronic musician ever to use a piano..

but, i must say 'ceramics is the bomb' comes startingly
close to aphex at times.. most of the tracks sound as if
they could be aphex outtakes from either his caustic window
stuff or his drukqs style drum n bass.
i must say i was kinda disappointed with it.. and i dont say
that very often.
