ochre is THE MAN!

i suppose this is a companion to my plea for him to join
the new compilation im working on... but let me get to the
point.

i am engrossed in his work. mobile foes is simply gorgeous.
i am enthralled by the almost 80's discoteque quallity in
some of his work. it sounds like an equal concoction of
8-bit NES, les rythmes style dance, and stop/start glitch
sensibilities. kudos to this man, who is VASTLY under-rated.
i can only imagine an artist such as this will grow and grow
into something truly great. i am attracted to this music the
way i might be attracted to a girl who is not only gorgeous
physically, but also has a most amazing personality... this
music is like the kind of girl i could fall for. rock.

Ha ha, that's so going down as my favourite XLT quote in the
other thread!
With any luck he'll take this as a compliment and not as
"pre fame stalking";)

His music is rather good BTW...

yeah Ochre is cool. We had a "Music Showcase" on the first
Loopz Net Radio we did. Quality tunes and hopefully we can
get him back to Brum to play live (one day!)

you should ask orbital to let him open for them someday..
starting at one concert maybe not listed on the bill, then
if he wows the audience list him on the next bill, and so
forth

One of his techniques I think is combining really low octave
stuff with really high octave stuff. low grav free fall and
that bears track are awesome.

I second that emotion, saw Ochre live in London and he was
quite excellent. Crispy beats, nice efx and proper speaker
woofing bass. Respect.
