Hey .nu crew:
1) What's some high end 3d authoring software? I've currently got true space and 3d studio max...anyother ideas?
2)Audio:
a)I can't seem to get cakewalk sonar 2 to launch on win2k...anyone else have this same prob?
b)I have 3 iso's for reason 2, and the upgrade for 2.5. When i burned the iso's for reason 2, and try launching the software, it asks for the orkester cd, which it reads and then asks for the factory sound bank cd, wich i put into the cd-rom drive, and the software doesn't seem to recgognize. I remember reading someware on the net that there was some "special" way of burning the iso's. but they seem to be just fine.
3) I need to hook up my ps2 into my comp. I have a optical in with my audigy 2, but what should i do with my video in? what card to you sugest? i'm looking for the highest vid/digital fidelity.
thank you.

2b this should work
'The burning of cd 2 and cd 3 (which are the SOUNDBANKS) should be done with Nero 5.5.9.0 or similar software
using DATA MODE 1 and Block Size (bytes) 2352 RAW DATA .... DAO (disk at once) and FINALIZED !!!
IF you don't do exactly this , you can forget about it . Another VERY FUCKING IMPORTANT !!! thing is that , the Instalation file (the 47Mb content of the zip file)
needs bo be burned on another cd , which will be cd 1 , that is CDROM-DATA cd mode 1 not very important
the writing format or if finalized or not . Write the content of the zip file on cd , not the zip file itself .
This way autorun should kick in and the instalation should start . You can put other files too on the cd , on cd 1 , stuff
like this help file and the keygenerator or whatever other stuff you might choose .
The thing is that if you choose to do a instalation that includes the SOUNDBANKS (cd2 & cd3) REASON2 will look
for cd2 and cd3 in the exact same place from where you started the instalation , which is the cd . If you begin
the instalation from the hard drive it will expect to find cd2 and cd3 in the same location (same folder on the hard drive)
and is not gonna work . Either install without the sound banks then insert cd2 and cd3 after the installation , when you
try to run REASON2 for the first time , reason will ask for them , and it might search the cd drives looking for
the SOUNDBANKS or burn the install files on cd (which will be cd 1) and do all the installation only from cd's including
the SOUNDBANKS.
The people who know a thing or two about cd recording , they can use the .cue files (dlm-rsn2.cue , dlm-rsn3.cue)
They can read the .cue files with Notepad and rename the .exe files to match the info
found in the .cue or the other way around (change the cd image name found in the .cue to match the .bin file on
the hard drive )
I'm writing this cause there are too many fake files on kazaa and many
people still need help with this shit .
The corect files needed are :

cd 1 size: 47,866 kb (these are only the main install files , not the full cd)
cd 2 size: 627,173 kb cd 3 size: 644,330 kb
The original cd 1 is 528,894 kb but it's not needed cause it's filled
with a bunch of fucking DEMOS so don't waste your time with the full cd 1.
Get only the main instalation and it's supposed not to be cracked , so , it
should ask you for cd2 and cd3 after instalation , when trying to run Reason2 .
The file names could be anything ranging from "dlm-rsn2.bin" for cd 2 to "reason2.PGR.dlm-rsn3.bin.exe"
for cd 3 , but make sure the sizes are corect . Cd 1 says Original and REAL !!! in the file name .
Just ckeck the file size in kazaa . You might find it also as .exe and need to rename it to .zip .
The files that have names ending in .exe should have more sources by now , so it might take
less time to download , as more people have those .
Another important thing is that , cd2 and cd3 files need to be renamed to end with .bin and need to
be burned on cd . Problem is , some people still don't know how to rename files in WindowsXP
and when it comes to burning the cd , some people just copy the .exe file onto cd and expects it to work .
To rename files in XP , click START button , go to CONTROL PANEL , double click the FOLDER OPTIONS icon ,
then go to the VIEW tab and where is says : "Hide Extension For Known File Types" make sure
you uncheck that , you take the fucking check mark out of there , this way windows XP won't hide your file
extensions so you can rename your files and change their extension .
After you do that you can right click your file and select Rename . Rename the "reason2.PGR.dlm-rsn2.bin.exe"
to dlm-rsn2.bin then use Nero to burn it by going to the File menu inside NERO , select BURN IMAGE
browse for the image file but make sure you set the browse filter to ALL FILES (*.*) otherwise nero
will look only for CD Images of type .nrg .iso and .cue and you wont be able to see your .bin file cause it's
filtered out .

Once you double click your .bin file (dlm-rsn2.bin for example) Nero will ask for the burning mode you want to use.
Select DATA MODE 1 , BLOCK SIZE 2352 , don't mess with the rest of the settings , click OK and then WRITE .
Same shit with cd3 , rename and burn with Nero 5590 or whatever version works on your computer .
But make sure you close the WIZARD and go to FILE menu instead then select BURN IMAGE .
IMPORTANT !!! If you downloaded the right .cue files your life we'll be much easier and you can use those .cue
files in NERO . Just make sure you have the .bin files and the .cue files in the same folder and the info in the
.cue files reflect the corect names of the .bin files . USE NOTEPAD TO EDIT THE .cue FILES !!
If your burning software doesn't support .bin files , use a converter like WINISO to
convert the .bin file into standard .iso . You can also use ISOBUSTER to extract the content
of that .bin cd image and burn the content on cd .There are many ways to do the same thing but they might not work .
Choose whatever works for you . I installed without the SOUDBANKS , then went and in CDRWIN 5.02 and inserted the
.bin files in the virtual cd drive so that , Reason2 can find the soundbanks and let me authorize . So i never
burn the cd's .BUt some people get errors and problems with CDRWIN 5.02 .
The main install file , the one from cd1 should be .zip format not .exe (the 47Mb one from cd 1)
You might find it in .exe format and have to rename it to .zip
Unzip it ,burn the content to cd , in such a way that when you browse the

Unzip it ,burn the content to cd , in such a way that when you browse the cd 1 , the first thing you see on it is AUTORUN
and the installation files and not some folder or some zip file , then run the instalation and choose to install
including the soundbanks (cd2 & cd3). During instalation Reason2 will ask for cd3 then cd2 then again for cd2 and again cd3 , not
necesarily in that exact order . Be prepared to swap fucking cd's like crazy , when installing.
After it finishes the instalation you need to Authorize it .

Nobs, I haven't been here so long, but I have been to quite a few forums, and seen quite a few legals problems lately.
Keep the stuff off the message boards, emails are much better for that sort of thing. Don't want to see Xltronic get into any sort of pressured take it down crap that happened to other sites. I'm not against it (I'll give tips if you want to email me with questions on where to get or how to install stuff)... but, well, you understand
