No The Bends and OK Computer were 2 of the finest albums
ever released. HTTT I personally would place behind them.

imo Radiohead are overrated, though I do like Kid A, don't
think i'm gonna bother with the new one though... plenty of
more worthwhile purchases out there.

I think Kid A and Amnesiac where unbeleivably over rated.
The new release is decent but I don't think I will be
purchasing it myself either.

It all depends on taste. I mean, The bends and OK Computer
are hard to campare to Kid A or amnesiac. I happen to like
all their albums, and I really enjoy HTTT. But to say
already it's better or so is too soon for me. It has to
stand a certain 'test of time'.

I think kid a is way better. httt is great but, like
amnesiac, it chops and changes between styles a lot less
smoothly than kid a did. here's a rock song... here's an
electronic song.

kid a works as a whole album because the tracks flow better.
apparently ed o'brien says kid a is their best album. i read
that somewhere the other day

haven't hear httt but i doubt it's comparable to kid a.

i listened kid a yesterday and it's just a masterpiece

I can't wait to hear Hail To The Thief, all Radiohead is
high quality music as far as I'm concerned.

for my personal taste i rank them:
1) OKC
2) kid a
3) the bends
4) amnesiac
5) airbag ep
6) my iron lung ep
7) pablo honey
8) IMBW live ep
?) HTTT [we'll find out next tuesday]

taste is extremely subjective.. just cos you're not feeling
_______ this year doesn't mean you won't love it next year,
or in 5 years. ....or 5 years ago! it's all about what
you're into at the moment.

hail to the thief seems completely inconsequential. sure,
its got some nice songs on it, but most of the good ones
(sail to the moon, scatterbrain, where i end and you begin)
have been done better by radiohead on previous albums. sail
to the moon was nice when it was called pyramid song.
overall i think they've worn out this type of sound. to me
this album sounds like a watered down version of kid a and
amnesiac. more "rock" less experimentation, and most of it
seems to go nowhere. nonetheless the songs seem solid, but i
was expecting alot more from this release.
i think radiohead have passed their prime (ok computer) and
the extensions of that (kid a and amnesiac). i'm hoping
they've got another great album left in them, but i can live
with the three (bends, ok computer, kid a) classics they've
already made.
