I have had the same problem. A friend once told me he had it
also, and he could solve it, by getting better ADSL
software, it had something to do with the drivers or so. I'm
not on ADSL here, and I don't have any access to p2p as it
is.

It crashed all the time here when I d/led the new beta, so I
went to their wbsite and d/led the final version of the new
slsk client, and now I only get crashed dee fek out whenever
I do a search that gets 2 many hits

i have one of them memory free program things... i tests ur
ram then frees as much as it can automatically every 10
seconds or so.. the reason i tell you this - i can barely
use soulseek without it, as after about 10 minutes a have 0
free ram and shortly afterwards my pc crashes

I used to have freeze-ups all the time makeing it impossible
to work with soulseek - not crashes though. In their FAQ it
says that you could reduce the amount of shared files to get
rid of the problem, that worked for me. Too bad for those
who "needed" those files though.
