i just bought The Cold Vein yesterday. good shit.

i also have a CD by another Brooklyn rapper, Thirstin Howl
III, but Can-Ox makes Thirstin look like a clown.

my venturing into hiphop is growing..

anyone else here heard of this guy?

Thirstin' is a clown, it doesn't take the people of cannibal
ox to make him look like one. :P

I have heard of him, but I haven't heard anything yet. Good
stuff you say? Is that blue suit guy from Half-Life 2 in
your avatar? He looks like he's inviting me to dinner.

more as of late. but they are really different, cant compare
em.

*bump*

X-tomatic: hehe, i guess you're right about Thirstin.
his name's even "clownin'."

Clic: X-tomatic is correct. it is the G-Man. speaking
of HL2, i bought a PC-Gamer mag cuz it included a separate
booklet of about 16 pages that covered press regarding HL2
media. it's a game i'm definitely going to invest in this
summer. BTW how is the Silent Hill series? i've never
played..

disasemble: w3rd. my brother brought some cLOUDDEAD
while he was up here the past two days. what i've heard so
far from them is pretty good.

The Silent Hill series is awesome, I think. I have the first
two and I love them.

The 3rd one is supposed to come out here in the states on
August 8th, I believe.

Guess if you ever want to play a good, creepy game on
Playstation 1 or 2, go for those. Doesn't really matter what
order you play 'em in -- their stories aren't connected.
Great soundtracks.

some stuff on the cannibal ox cd is very good but theres
also a lot of weak tracks and embarassing rhymes sometimes.
I like the darker tracks much better(cold vein, iron
galaxy). they gonna release anything new soon?

i got this split 12" by cannibal ox a few years back....it

i think it was called "iron galaxy".

The production on the CD is top notch, some of El-P's best
work. I agree that sometimes the rhymes can be sloppy
though, as though they are attempting to be profound but
come across cheesy.

If you haven't heard it listen to Metal Gear (it was cut
from the album because it is a slightly different style.) It
was on the F-Word single. Proper good track it is.

how nice would a Cannibal Ox vs. APC album be? with APC and
el-p trading production duties or collaborating
