I like it. Altho i must admit i sometimes have trouble following the stories.
Some of them are a bit abstract and complicated with all the demons and shit.

I believe at some point she bursts for some reason, that's a cool scene.
But like you said, it's been a long time since I've seen that movie.

i'm w/ knobcheese... anime is kinda boring, no worse than non-animated television, though personally i stick with generic american animation, where the art doesn't all look more or less the same, oh and show's like scooby doo where u can tell the ending before the end of the opening credits are an example of the worse sort of generic american animation... but maybe i've become redundant?

Just got my mind blown by "spirited away", excellent movie, well deserved the oscar.
On the other hand, "Ghost in the shell" really had me going like: "ow....that's all? Dunno what all the fuss is about then. Plain boring shite movie."

Ok just to make it clear, I HATE ANIME means that which is not considered porn, but that which is pain in the ass pointless crap.
Oh, and Ghost in the Shell is good as a movie, but i still hate anime.
And let me ask the all important question before i leave again...
WHAT IS THE POINT OF ANIME DVD's???

I like Anime. I dislike people who take it too seriously, refer to themselves as "Otaku" and think that anything anime is good regardless of its actual merit. I really enjoyed Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scrolls, etc. but I won't watch/buy any old crap, just because it is anime.

I HATE ANIME means that which is not considered porn, but that which is pain in the ass pointless crap.
porn anime is called hentai, and is just as pointless as regular anime, or any other form of movie because: it's all just entertainment, even if it carries a wise lesson in it, you either like it or you don't, it's all up to you.
And of course the point of anime DVD's would be exactly the same as the point of regular DVD's: To get the product at a better quality both visually and soundwise. That's the point of the digital versatile disc when it's concerned with any form of movie.
