could you?
I made a track called "Happier Times"
it's only 1:40, but i've been listening to it for the last, god knows how long. It's good to me, I made it for how I feel now, and I still feel that way.
One song, for always?

dunno.......everything gets 'old' after a while, and to reappreciate it again you have to take time away from it.
it's like that with everything really, not just songs.....otherwise you take it for granted =0)
IMO

Some songs keep me interested even after listening to them 50-100 times because I hear something different every time, lot of classical music is like that for me
And ESPECIALLY things I make... mostly cause I can't believe I actually made it *grin*

I can listen to the following songs 10 times in a row, every day. I'm totally fucking serious, I'm pathologically addicted to them.
We Can Work it Out Ticket to Ride You Won't See Me She Said She Said The Long and Winding Road Lovely Rita And 4 of the 6 are Paul songs... hmmmm...

I did a similair thing like this to a friend a year or so ago...
We were walking into town and I just suddenly said, "Okay, 10 seconds to decide- one song that will loop forever in your head, which would it be... 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3" (friend cuts in) "..probably something by Pearl Jam" (me)"Ok, Jeremy by Pearl Jam it is."
I never actually followed him around for a day with a ghettoblaster playing it on loop, but it would be fun to see what he did.
I've tried playing Melissa Juice by BoC for hours (while I'm awake), but after a while I just ignore it...

I like that song too, but I don't like it enough to listen to it 10 times in a row, and I really have done that with We Can Work it Out.
'''Lovely Rita'' is the odd one out... most people consider it a third rate Beatles song, but it's one of my faves of all time.

and you're the one who recommended me Abbey Road?! None of those songs are on abbey road! :-p You would expect your favourite beatles-album to have atleast one of your favourite songs on it.
Oh well... it's still a great album though (thanks for the advice, by the way... even though i already bought it a couple of weeks ago. it's amazing :-))

ambient such as saw2 is mostly no problem to listen to over and over again, but songs that have a certain melody get ruined very quickly after repeated play
