the LP (aleamapper) is more interesting.

the beat thing gets boring quickly, me thinks.

How about lipswitch? They have that one on vinyl at a store
near here I saw.

HA! I thought you were talking about lipswitch.

you mean the very first 12" on Schematic then..?

lipswitch is okay, but gets boring quite quickly. first
track is great though.

Aleamapper is my favorite thing he's released so far. I own
Lipswitch also and I think the beats are entertaining, but I
don't go for it as much as I do for Aleamapper. Lipswitch is
great to drive around to.

Richard Devine is shit!!! I can listen to one of his cd's
and think 'yes, that was interesting' but I know if I hear
it again my life isn't going to be enriched......

aleamapper is dope, might buy lip switch soon. wasn't he
supposed to release a new album this spring?

he's brilliant live but his recorded stuff sounds really
lame to me....

schematic.net :(

oh .. i was talking about the richard devine ep ... the one
with like 6 tracks ... what would be classed as typical
"idm" [interpellated disco music] - pretty melodies, crunchy
rhythms and the like .: not as austere and technical as
either lipswitch or aleamapper.

tho aleamapper ownz.

I think aleamapper sucks. The first track on lily of the
valley is the best thing richard devine's made that I've
heard, then comes lipswitch. Fantastic organized chaos.

what's good about aleamapper? i tried many times to get
into it, but never could. most tracks just sound exactly
the same, some random noises, slamming doors etc.
