this is a brilliant icelandic progressive-hardcore rock
band signed to victory records. Their album "jesus christ
bobby" is produced by noise-artist 'curver' who delivers
much freshness to their whole sound

here's one song from JCB:

Chimera (full song)
Chimera (preview)

their new album "halldór laxness" is out in europe and will
be available in the US 17th of june. they've changed
direction with this album, it's more "rock&roll"(with little
or no screaming) but it's still hard and full of energy. It
has gotten very good reviews, like Jesus Christ Bobby in
1999

here's a video for 'Romantic Excorsism' you'll get a glimps of icelandic nightlife
:)

Yeeeeeeeees!!!!! I've been listening to Halldor Laxness all
week!!!

Jesus Christ Bobby was good, but the newie is better. I've
been trying to find 'Dark Lit', their third record with no
luck.

i just dl halldór laxness an hour ago. damn it is
brilliant, krummi is exploring new terrories with his
vocals. 'Angel In Disguise' is so good, heard it first live
at Airwaves reykjavik musicfestival, and i couldn't get it
out of my head. Good thing it was included on the album

Check AMG man, they have another album out, after JCB, but
there's no label mentioned.

Looking at the (now updated, finally) website it looks like
you're right. That's the only time I've seen AMG cock up
something like that. Stupid bastards.

Are you on slsk old boy? I can't find the first album
anywhere (obviously)... :)

Yeah they are good. I have "halldór laxness". Iceland has
quite a large music scene for such a small population.
