Documentaries, dramas, comedies, whatever. From Moulin Rouge to Meeting People is Easy, anything centered around muzak and the like.
I'm going to be the typical me and say... A Hard Day's Night. The only way I'll ever achieve happiness would be to be a Beatle. Thus, I'm doomed. Yellow Submarine is also fantastic, and I think you potheads will agree. Help is a lot of fun, Magical Mystery Tour is... interesting... Let it Be is extremely depressing. Painful even. The whole Beatles Anthology is also a Godsend.
Other than the Fab Four, I'll go with Spinal Tap! So hilarious, oh my goodness. I'm giggling like a Japanese Schoolgirl just thinking about it. Had me fooled too, for years I thought they WERE some legendary band.
And before Diablo says anything... yeah, I'm working on seeing ''The Rutles'' soon. I also want to get my hands on Come to Viddy... and I hope Richie J and Cunningham get together soon and treat us to some new celluloid.

Never saw it, and the fact that it stars Val Kilmer scares me away. But I heard he was good in it, miraculously.

Never saw that either, but I guess I'll give poor Val a second chance, you win! It's just that he was my least favorite Batman, a blasphemous BLONDE Bruce Wayne. And Batmen are important to me.

You're kidding? That made my day! Connery is like a fine wine, I bet he won't look a day older than he did in Crusade.
I hope they don't do to the new Indiana what they did to the new Star Wars'. :-p Kidding. Sort of.

Hm...
David Lynch's movies, like "The Elephand Man", "Mulholland Drive" and "Wild at heart" (and of course the "Twin Peaks"-tv series).
"A nightmare before Christmas" (in fact most of Danny Elfman's work), "Jerry Maguire", "Office Space", "Fight Club", "Terminator 2"...
I tried to name different genres... And there are of course too much to mention...

The Sound Of Music, remains my all time favourite...I think I've watched it about 36 times to date.
Besides that, 'Dancer In The Dark' (Bjork, oh the cuteness), 'Hard Day's Night', 'Help' (and if you don't LOVE The Beatles, you mustbe crazy ;P), Mr.Holland's Opus, My Fair Lady and Amadeus.

dancer in the dark is great, can't believe i forgot it.
and one of my favorite musically related scenes in a movie is in boogie nights, when dirk diggler is all like, "we're THAT good!"
