im assuming they annoy u cos they sound weak? most of the drum machines aint too crash hot, the new pearl drum machine is ok, better if u import ur own samples into it u can do some nice trickery, also u can use the m4wII as a sampler type thing and do some neat stuff with that. or get/make some kits for the psi drum, usually the quality is poor tho

uh, i find the best way of getting a unique sound is to use the drum synthesizers like the fudrum2 (which was released not long ago) .. most of my latest tracks use drum sounds from the buzz generators.. you have to tweak em quite a bit though.. and use lots of effects.. but you can get some pretty nice sounds out of it..
It's well easy to use.
i agree.. i dont see how people can't understand it.. it has the easiest way to connect machines to each other that i've seen..

fuck all that drum synths 808 is cool but is unpredictable in the ways of cpu usage/ might crash for no real reason conflicting some other machine or something....
use your wave table and the Matilde Tracker To really phaten up the sound of the matilde I'll run it through all kinds of shit...
normally I'll send out one clean signal and then another through a combination of either Oomek's Exciter or Rymix's StereoBox Pro coupled with my own Aneurysm's DisGarb
it gives you some bright-ass moving crunch Larshaka's rIDma fucking rules too!
Bebop Cola is GOOD!!!

I've heard people saying that the low quality sound associated with buzz can be resolved by good mastering, so much so that it is used by some commericial musicians (can't remember which one, one big name DJ used it on his last album). Anyone got an example of a highly produced track done entirely in Buzz that I can DL as an MP3 to listen for myself?

yeah the ridma is nice, but the fuzzpilz lepidopterist has a lot more tweakability..
ceri jc: zebox.com/tendrils - glitch from tefosav's stuff is rather awesomely high quality.. he uses buzz .. along with some external synths, but everything goes through buzz effects as i understand..
