no life

i'm in a sad and boring period atm...

i have even less life than i usually have, spending my whole
time between working and roaming on messageboards, not able
to go out because my parents won't let me out for the exams
are near - but if i was doing what i should be doing,
it would be even worse, i would be 100% working...

thinking: i have no life...
also thinking: yes, but what could i do to have one? i can't
think of anything good enough...

who really has a life anyway? when you're adult, you
have to work like 80% of your time, don't you? and for the
few distractions you'll have then - why would spending your
life on the net be less lively than spending it out in the
city in bars cinemas etc., or playing video games, or
reading, or anything? do anyone really have a life?? maybe
5% of the population does...

and fictive characters too, living adventures and all that -
real life is so boring!!

Just because you ain't rock climbing and scooba diving in
Hawaii everyday, don't mean you ain't living. Seriously,
relax.. and make what you do fun and enjoyable. It doesn't
matter what it is.. life is everywhere, all around us.. in
EVERYTHING we do... you can always learn and experience..

I'm perfectly happy right now, never bored. I don't REALLY
have a life... but I like it that way.

However... I'm looking for a job, and then I'll sink into a
deep depression. I HAVE to get one though.

What is a life? If you're happy then does mean you have a
life? I'm happy being on computers alot, does that mean i
don't have a life? Or for me to have a life must i got out
and get drunk with loser friends every night?

Anyway, i'm very happy. Infact i'm so happy right now with
my life. I've got it all down pat (aussie slang?).. I have a
good balance between uni, computer being my biggest hobby,
and just general stuff like going out to movies, going
surfing, stuff like that. I like going bughwalking and stuff
like that too. It does you a good deal to get away from
everything for a few days. Sometimes even when i can't go
for days i'll go for the day, like to the beach or
something. It's just something i like to do to clear my head
and stuff. Sitting around at home doing not much won't get
you anywhere. You need to get out and expiernece stuff. Life
has a lot to offer and i enjoy it a lot. But, it doesn't
mean i don't get depressed every now and then. Everyone
does. But sitting around moping about it isn't a solution,
it'll probably make things worse. So it's good to get out
and explore and find what things make you happy. It sux your
parents won't let you out though. Just tell em you need to
get out or something and clear your head. It'll do you
better than sitting around.

life goes on with or without you... you either become part
of the myriad stream or you don´t. Most of the planet has a
relatively shitty life compared to the average Westener.
Make the most of it old fruitcake! its the Only one you got.
(i got 3 more, personaly speaking, so i´m ok)

I don't know, I live a pretty regimented life and do
similair things on a day in, day out basis, but it doesn't
bore me. I enjoy it and remember to find pleasure in simple
things like the view when driving to or from work, the
architecture of where I live, making a good synth patch etc.

I'm not your typical gregarious "happy person", in fact to
people who don't know me that well I might appear to be
down, but I'm actually in a good mood most of the time.

I basically spend a lot of my time behond the PC for school
and also for my own entertainment. Some would call my life
boring but I'm kinda happy the way it is. Of course I also
like to spend time with my friends, so I'm not some kind of
computer geek cooped up in his room all day, afraid of
people. ;P
