"There There" Video

Has anyone seen Radiohead's video for "There There"? I
downloaded it last night and watched it this morning.

It's really weird, it's Thom walking around a forrest
looking at these animals that look like they escaped the
taxidermist. At the end Thom turns into a tree. The video
is creepy as shit.

Yes, I love it!!!

Those little creature doll things remind me of books and
toys I had when I was little. Soooo great.

way! (yet i'd like to get one if i could choose what i'd be
turned on to) °_°

god that was weird!!! O_O
and horrible ending. creepy indeed.

i like it and hate it at the same time, respect it and
despise it, etc. like 'karma police' by the way.

remembers me how some tales for children can be horrible and
cruel, even though they are for children...

I don't find it strange at all, quite enchanting really.
Particularly like Thom's smug grin when he is running
maniacally through the woods near the end.

Thom Yorke is a terrible actor :-p I think he looks kind of
ridiculous in it (as he did in the Knives Out-video).

But both those videos are still pretty good, and more
interesting than most videos out there.

But -having not downloaded any of it- i have to say: WHAT A
FANTASTIC SONG! Oh my god, i was really blown away when i
heard it for the first time... i was already looking forward
to it very much, but now i'm really excited about the
new album!!

I think he looks kind of ridiculous in it
hehe and how about the revealing pics of you in the

i think his performances are always amazing and very
surreal/unsettling...

i think a BAD actor would've tried really hard to actually
ACT in those videos.

that video kicks, i saw it on yahoo music (?)....
i love the way thom walks through the forest, he really
isn't a bad actor....
the atmosphere is brilliant,..i love those little
pipe-smoking squirrels and bunnies getting married and
stuff.....
and the crazy evil birds that perch atop thom after he
morphs into the tree....

NICE.

i wonder if that transformation made him die, or if he's
still alive, his soul trapped in tree...

"i pretty much love all radiohead videos"

Yes, they have all have been great :-) Especially
Just, which imho is the best video ever created in
the history of all mankind... i just love it. Just thinking
about it gives me goosebumps.

"rabbit in your headlights , great video!)"

Yeah, i remember seeing that one and being very impressed by
it. (some of those carcrahes looked painfully realistic
though... must have been a good stuntman). Great concept.
It's like being vulnerable made him stronger.

"hehe and how about the revealing pics of you in the
hottest ass thread surrounded?
"

Lol! Listen Morton it's not what you think! I put my trust
into the wrong person. He said the keyword was tasteful!

Haha! Great timing to include that picture in that thread
:-p

"haha made me laugh out loud"

Thanks :-)
As you probably know that episode was on last night... made
me laugh out too. I love how mr. steinbrenner goes to tell
his parents the bad news, and mr. costanze just says: "What
the hell did you trade Jay Buhner for?!? He had 30 home
runs, over 100 RBIs last year, he's got a rocket for an arm,
you don't know what the hell you're doin'!!"

Jackie Chiles is brilliant too, he should have been in more
episodes!

Jackie: That's totally inappropriate. It's lewd,
vesivius, salacious, outrageous!

Kramer: It was outrageous. And she's the heir to the
O'Henry candy bar fortune.

Jackie: Could you repeat that?

Kramer: I said she's the heir to the O'Henry candy
bar fortune.

Jackie: O'Henry? That's one of our top-selling candy
bars. It's got chocolate, peanuts, nougat, it's delicious,
scrumptious, outstanding!

I know Thom Yorke is not supposed to be an actor. He's a
musician, it's no big deal if he can't act... but that does
mean the videos become less good because of it. In my
opinion anyway.

I wonder if you all would still be so enthusiastic if Thom
Yorke wasn't a musician, but just some unknown actor another
band hired to perform in two of their videos.

"i think a BAD actor would've tried really hard to
actually ACT in those videos.
"

Okay, there's something to be said for that. The videos are
kind of silly (in a good way), and too serious acting would
have looked ridiculous. But still i don't like Thom's
performance in them.
