mmokay.

I like the percusive/melodic elements in the beginning -
makes me think a lot of BoC though, especially when the
voices drop in.
nice little beat developing. like the faraway, harder
percussive sounds. you do add a bit too much percussion for
my taste - the drum sounds, I don't like them.
the other sounds seemed on their own, the drum sounds, sound
like drums (well duh).

overall I think you should step away from the BoC sounds now
- develop some more sounds to put in that are NOT
percussive.

"the other sounds seemed on their own, the drum sounds,
sound like drums"

what I meant by this, is the drum sounds are too boring - I
don't want to think 'drums' when I hear this track, I would
like it to stay selfcontained.

I think you're right, it is very boc, i'd been listening
before I wrote it. I might actually scrap it.

I've been writing since I was 13 and i've written stuff that
isn't electronic as well, I must say that writing electronic
stuff is much more satisfying though!

I'll take it that this is the end of the conversation then?

*wonders again*

I agree with you that electrionic music is much more
satisfying. I am currently trying to upload 2 more tracks to
VitaminC but it is fucking around with me. I swear the
service there tends to be shit!

Curious Thoughts
----------------------
Seems to be a good track. I wan't sure at first but the more
i listened to it the more i ended up liking it. I just think
that it may be too long or my attention span is too small
right now. I think if you could trim it or condense it by a
minute or two then you might have something there!

Good Track

Get
-----------------------------------
I do like the feel of this one. I like that it is slower
paced and it felt like a nice contrast to the earlier
track.

My only suggestion is that they don't sound alive. They need
more amplification or something...... i can't think of the
word but they almost seem dull sounding..... not as in
melody but like it was dubbed from a tape or something. (
does that make sense?)

I like this track very much so though! Probably better than
the first track just as a matter of personal preference.

Again good job!

some ideas are overdun

The patterns are vivid, although certain layers need more
time. single step melodies throughout an entire track kill
me though.

in essence, your ideas are muscular.

Which track are you talking about?

get was marvelous. sure it sounded BoC-ish...i dunno. but
hey. what's wrong with BoC, anyways? hehe. but no...it's
really very mellow. i liked it a lot. maybe just because i'm
really tired and i just got home from work. eh. but no.
really. it's quality stuff. if you finish it (which i think
you SHOULD) let us know. i'd like to hear it. =]

i liked it much better. just seemed to be a bit
repetative. quiet and easy, though. not bad.

hoo.

what i meant was that i like the track it much
better.

thought 2 was what seemed a bit repetative. a little
variation in the strings...or...something. i dunno. i'm sure
there's a number of things you could do. it IS pleasant and
relaxing, however. which is nice.

why didn't i just say that the first time? =P

ooh. and who you turned out to be i like a lot. the
little blippity-beepies. and the dooblie-doos. yeah. that
thing rules.
