point is this:

haiku is meant to look nice

on them foreign marks

(sorry have no idea of english syllables, anyways the point
of haiku is that kanji are syllable signs and 5-7-5 look
nice i guess. thats calligraphy art you see. original haiku
kinda makes me think of a comic strip)
