Use a harness round the back end.
The front section of the elk will need to bite onto an object attached to a rope.
Elks eat melons in the wild.
Cut a hole in the melon and feed a length of rope through the middle.
When the rope is fed, tie a large knot in one end. When the stretch commences the rope will not be pulled from the melon which is inside the elk's mouth.
Therefore the back end harness will pull the back end of the elk (aka - "The Elk Arse"), and the front end rope, attached to the melon inside the elk's mouth (think of one of those pigs used in medieval banquets) will stretch the elk in the other direction.
Hence a long Elk.

Hence a long Elk > not a badly dismemberred elk. although it is perrfectly fine to strretch an elk, it it not fine to rrip one in half.
